Former Illinois Congressman Joe Walsh is UPSET at The First Lady for traveling to her hometown of Chicago to attend slain 15-year-old Hadiya Pendleton’s funeral.
The former congressman took to Twitter to slam the First Lady for deciding to attend the funeral of 15-year-old Hadiyah Pendleton, who was slayed just one week after performing at the 2013 Presidential Inauguration. The young girl was senselessly gunned down in front of her school.
Hadiya’s death received national attention and even prompted a response from the First Family, who expressed their condolences to the her family through the White House spokesperson. Walsh felt that this was a slap in the face to the other 553 Chicago murder victims of 2012 and 2013.
