Chicago attorney Fredrick Goings has convicted of murdering former NBA center Eddy Curry’s ex-girlfriend Nova Henry and their 10-month old daughter Ava in 2009. Goings represented Henry in a child custody case against the former Chicago Bulls, New York Knicks and Miami Heat center, and was also romantically involved with her. Prosecutors say Henry tried to end her relationship with Goings and moved out with her and Curry’s two children.
Goings shot Henry in her home while she was holding Ava. Curry’s son Noah, who was then 3 years old at the time, was in the home but wasn’t harmed. When Nova’s mother “Yolan Henry” discovered the bodies, she testified that Noah told her “Fredrick did it.”
Curry is currently playing basketball in China.
